Classical House Calls
Throughout the year, The Music Studio Initiative organizes visits by groups of private piano students from The Music Studio to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities throughout the Capital Region.
Summer Music Scholarships
The Music Studio Initiative offers scholarships to children in the Albany City schools who--by recommendation of their music teachers--would benefit from and thrive in one of The Music Studio’s summer courses for children ages 4 to 7.
Musical Workshops
From Head Start programs to children’s camps in Albany City parks, The Music Studio Initiative brings the experienced faculty and high-energy instruction out of their classrooms to work on site with children and adults.
Community Performances
The Music Studio’s performance troupe, The Music Studio Kids, works year-round to bring musical joy and precision to events all across our region, from serenading veterans before an Honor Flight to enchanting children at a Saratoga Performing Arts Center family night..
